Monorail 35mm film leader trimmer

The Rezivot Monorail Trimmer is a precision 35mm film leader cutter, machined in Taiwan from brushed stainless steel. It shapes a clean, consistent leader on any standard 35mm (135) film so the film loads reliably — without the jams and wasted first frames that an uneven, hand-cut leader causes.

What it does — A clean leader is what lets a roll feed smoothly into a camera or a reloadable cassette. Cut it unevenly by hand and the film snags the transport and ruins the first two or three frames. The Monorail Trimmer gives you the same clean leader shape every time: set the film in the channel, cut, done.

The Rezivot detail — Two locating tips register against the film's sprocket perforations, so the film sits in exactly the right position before the cut. The finished leader comes out like a factory-made one.

Material & finish — Solid stainless steel with a brushed (hairline) finish, machined and finished in Taiwan.

Works with — Any standard 35mm (135) film — black-and-white, colour negative, slide, or re-spooled motion-picture stock — and any standard reloadable 35mm cassette. Pairs with Rezivot's own 400ft and 1000ft bulkloaders. For vintage Barnack L39 Leica bodies, trim repeatedly to reach the exact leader length those cameras require.
